The Field Note
It's December 31, the last-day of 2025.
A heart-felt and sincere "Thank You" to our valued clients, friends, and associates for being in our lives in 2025 🙏
As I thought about this issue, I was going to mention it’s the last-day to avail a special 100 bucks 0FF Elias Raber’s upcoming Workshop at https://kineticlife.thrivecart.com/t4n-26q1/
Also thought to mention it’s the last-day to sub-scribe for the inaugural issue of the freee LeaderMinded Edge monthly newsletter (clack here) that starts on 1/1/2026.
Was “goin to” mention it’s the last-day to pay “expenses” in 2025 if anyone else needs websites, SEO, or mailers, but I got too busy sending invoices and paying expenses 😂
Before the calendar flips, I want to invite you to do something simple but meaningful: pause and reflect.
Step 1: What Went Well
Grab a paper and write down the top 3 things that went well this year. These could come from areas like:
Business & finances
Health & wellness
Family & relationships
Faith & personal growth
Don’t overthink it! Just write them down.
Step 2: What Didn’t Go Well
Also, write down the top 2 things that didn’t go as planned in those same areas. Not to beat yourself up but to be real. Clarity always starts with truth.
Step 3: Set Your 2026 Priorities
Next, make a list of your top 5 priorities for 2026. Not goals. Priorities—the things you want to focus on. Then break them down into actionable steps for each quarter. This alone can dramatically change how your year unfolds.
––––––––––
One priority for me in 2026 is wellness. I recently invested in a full blood panel and analysis to dial in my health, nutrition, and energy.
If you’ve ever attended a Conklin Business Seminar, you’ve seen how they train to do extremely detailed soil testing before recommending what a farmer should apply on his fields. This works the same way except it’s for humans!
I’ve said for years that something like this should exist, and in January I’m doing it!! You're welcome to checkin on my progress and hold me accountable 😁
Another priority is finding an "integrator," someone who loves the world of marketlng, enjoys completing projects, and has a heart for serving small business owners. If you know someone wired that way, keep me in mind!
With 160 percent GROWTH in revenue over last year... just in the marketlng and media business, it's time!
And one honest miss for me this year: I didn’t fully complete my chronological Bible in a Year audio. About 20 days behind. Last year I made it just 90 days or so, so still a wln in my book.
My mind also went to the phrase “the last-day,” which was spoken around 2,000 years ago: “In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.”
I find those words sobering—in a good way.
It reminds me that while years change, calendars flip, and priorities shift, there is something far more important than simply planning the next twelve months.
As we seek to thrive and be blessed in 2026, let’s also take a moment to reflect on something deeper. Let’s be convinced—beyond a shadow of a doubt—that we are ready not just for 2026, but for our own last-day, whenever that may be.
Because when that day comes, it will not be our plans, goals, or accomplishments that matter most but who we trusted, how we lived, and what truly had our hearts.
Wishing you a blessed and prosperous 2026 as you honor your loved ones, serve your clients, and make the world a better place.
At Your Service,
Owen Shrock
